The first 10 years afbeelding
Prior to Delta Light Paul Ameloot owned a store in Roeselare (Belgium) called Stereohouse, providing full service hi-fi and lighting solutions for discotheques. During the eighties it struck his attention that the people in his store and project owners started giving more and more attention to lighting, and how to apply it. It proved to be the start of a new story…
In the first ten years Paul and his team of 7 employees developed the first luminaire, the Phantom, which is still part of the current collection. Focusing on the Belgian market at first, Delta Light quickly expanded to 50 countries, with Delta Light offices in Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland amongst others.

In 1999 Delta Light presented its third Lighting Bible, moving from a product brochure at first to become a reference product catalogue today. Growing to become a more global player, Delta Light entered the North-American market in 2006, followed by Delta Light MENA in 2007.
An important step in the company history was made in 2006, moving from the company roots in Roeselare to a new building in Moorsele, aptly named The House of Light.
2009 and beyond afbeelding
Moving into new and expanding markets Delta Light started a Latin-American branch in 2009, with offices and showroom in Bogota, Colombia. Looking to better service the market and support local partners and architects, Delta Light recently founded Delta Light Asia and Delta Light REEMA (Russia, Middle-East, Eastern-Europe). Today, the company is presented in over 120 countries worldwide.
2015 will again be a year of big plans and ambitions, with the expansion of the headquarter building in Belgium, launch of The Lighting Bible 11, new collections and international landmark projects.
